About Mrs. Wakine
My name is Wakine Husband, and I have been caring for children for more than 14 years. Working with children is not just my profession, it is my passion. I am a DCFS licensed home daycare provider certified in CPR and First Aid. I am currently working toward my Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education to continue strengthening my knowledge of child development and best practices in early learning.

I hold multiple certificates in infant and toddler care and remain committed to continuous professional growth. Families describe me as dependable, patient, and caring, and I value strong partnerships with parents to support each child’s unique needs.

I am also the founder of Knock Knock Donate A Sock Inc., a nonprofit organization dedicated to serving children in our community by providing socks and underclothing to those in need. Giving back has always been close to my heart.
